About This Call
This juried street art festival takes place on the streets of John Carlyle Square in Old Town Alexandria, VA, a park-like venue near Whole Foods and just off Duke Street, two blocks from King Street and near the King St. Metro station. The show is rated as one of the top 100 art shows in Sunshine Artist Magazine and runs Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm with free public admission.
Booth spaces are 10x10 (limited 10x20 available with approved double booth image) with a $625 booth fee. Applications require 3 images of work, 1 image of 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent, biography or website, and a $35 non-refundable jury fee. The competitive show is limited to accepted exhibitors chosen by a jury of qualified artists that meets weekly, with 2-4 weeks processing time once applications are received.
Accepted mediums include clay, digital, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, and resin. Artwork must be original, handcrafted, and directly created by the approved artist. One medium only per booth is permitted, and the artist must be present throughout the event. Howard Alan Events has over 40 years of experience producing juried street art festivals and has a reputation for bringing out high-end buying crowds.
