Alameda - Contra Costa County Transit District: Pre-qualified Pool of Supporting Artists and Artisans for EB-BRT

Alameda - Contra Costa County Transit District is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to establish a Pre-qualified Pool of Supporting Artists and Artisans for collaborative work with a Lead Artist on artistic enhancements of station design elements in the East Bay Rapid Transit (EB-BRT) project. The art enhancement budget allowance for the EB-BRT project is estimated at $1.5 million, which amounts to 1.5% of the eligible construction costs currently estimated at approximately $100 million.

Qualifications must be received by 2:00 p.m. Local Time on December 9, 2013. Part 1 electronic submittal must be submitted online via CaFE, and Part II hard copy must be submitted to the Purchasing Department, AC Transit, 1600 Franklin Street, 8th Floor, Oakland, CA 94612, Attn: Eric Burks, Contract Specialist. Faxed or electronic submittals will not be accepted. Applicants must submit 6 images as work samples. An addendum was issued on October 8, 2013. Contact: Eric L.
