Alameda - Contra Costa County Transit District: Lead Artist for East Bay Bus Rapid Transit Stations

AC Transit is seeking a Lead Artist to integrate artistic enhancements into 34 stations for the East Bay Bus Rapid Transit (EB-BRT) system. The conceptual theme for these enhancements is "Honor the Past and Celebrate the Future." The art enhancement budget allowance for the EB-BRT project is estimated at $1.5 million, which amounts to 1.5% of the eligible construction costs currently estimated at approximately $100 million.

Qualifications must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. Local Time on December 9, 2013. Part 1 electronic submittal must be submitted online via CaFE, and Part II hard copy must be submitted to the Purchasing Department, AC Transit, 1600 Franklin Street, 8th Floor, Oakland, CA 94612, Attn: Eric Burks, Contract Specialist. Faxed or electronic submittals will not be accepted. Applicants must submit 6 images as work samples.
