About This Call
The Akron Arts Expo is a nationally recognized juried fine arts & fine crafts show with over 100 artists. With ribbon and cash awards, great food, interactive children's activities, and entertainment for the entire family. The show is located in a natural park setting at Hardesty Park on the west side of Akron.
Online applications will be accepted from February 1 through midnight March 31 (EST). Registration fee is $10.00 and covers the online application process. Artists must submit 5 images and a booth shot. Acceptance/rejection notices will be emailed on or around May 1, 2025. Booth fees are $210 if paid before June 1, 2025, and $230 after June 1st. All booth fees must be paid by June 16, 2025.
The show features spacious 14 x 15 booth spaces with white or off-white tents required. Artists receive breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, free onsite parking, 24-hour security, and vehicle access for load in/out weather permitting. Categories include Ornamental, 2-Dimensional, Functional, and 3-Dimensional work. All work must be original and completely finished, with booths displaying no less than 60% originals and 40% reproductions. Judging begins Saturday at 11:00 AM based on originality, execution, creativity, design, and workmanship.
