About This Call

AI Co-Create seeks to explore the space where the artist and AI work with—or even push—each other to collectively create better art than either could do alone. The exhibition showcases how artists use AI to ideate, explore, create, and refine imagined realities. While artificial intelligence has faced criticism in the art world, particularly regarding intellectual property concerns, AI can serve as a tool, medium, collaborator, or artist itself. AI's speed, breadth, pattern detection, and versatility offer potential for all types of artists, from ideation to creating new paths and exploring imagined realities.

The competition is open to all artists, national and international. All forms of painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture are eligible. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Entry fee is $25.00 for the first five entries; $5.00 for each additional entry. Work submissions must be in .pdf or .jpeg format with a maximum file size of 10MB. Each piece must include a short description of the AI/artist co-creation process and the AI platform used. Submissions may include up to 20 images, 6 audio files, and 6 video files, with a minimum of 5 total samples and maximum of 20 total samples.

The exhibition runs October 2–30, 2025. Selected work must be ready for hanging with appropriate hardware. Artists are responsible for shipping and insurance. A $1,000 exhibition award will be given. Artwork will be offered for sale at a 50/50 commission structure. Entry deadline is August 22, 2025. Contact [email protected] for questions.
