After the Leaves Have Gone

"Now the Leaves Have Gone" is a new call for art for the Cultural Center's newest online exhibition and invites artists to celebrate the bright, invigorating clarity that winter uniquely reveals. When the leaves fall away, the world sharpens: colours intensify and that seasonal light slices cleanly across landscape and architecture. The exhibition seeks artworks that embrace this crisp optimism — paintings, photographs, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, digital works, and everything in between. Artists are encouraged to surprise with how winter's pared-back beauty sparks joy, energy, or renewal, showing what emerges when the world is stripped to essentials.

The exhibition is open to all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, and digital art, except video. Artists of all backgrounds and disciplines worldwide, both amateur and professional, are encouraged to submit. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible.

Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry up to a maximum of 20 images. Awards include first place $300, second place $200, and third place $100. Notification of winners and the gallery opening on the Cultural Center website will be completed by February 9, 2026. All images must be in JPEG or JPG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 mb.
