After Dark III - A National Juried Gallery Exhibition

After Dark III is a national juried gallery exhibition open to all US-based artists 18 years and older. The exhibition runs from June 7-28, 2014, with an opening reception on June 7 from 5-7 PM.

Entries are accepted in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, mixed media, fiber arts, glass, and assemblage. Giclees are only accepted in photography. All photography prints (except Polaroid, platinum, and albumen) must have a minimum image size of 8 x 10". Two-dimensional pieces are limited to 52" width and 72" height with framing. Three-dimensional pieces are limited to 32" width/depth and 72" height. All works must be for sale and remain in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition. Works must be ready to hang or display, and any work requiring glazing must use plexiglass.

Submissions require 4-8 images. The entry fee is $40.00, with an additional $10.00 media fee per extra image beyond the first four. The application deadline is April 15, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Accepted artists will be notified by May 1. Work receivership is May 27-30, with pick-up/return of work June 30 - July 4. The exhibition will be supported by professionally printed invitations with national mailer, email announcements, website presence for selected artists, regional and national press coverage, an opening reception, gallery sales staff, and exposure to prominent figures in the New Mexico art market. Jurors include Paul Figueroa (former Executive Director of Gibbes Museum of Art, Santa Cruz Museum of Art, and Millicent Rogers Museum), Gus Foster (photographer and art collector), and Greg Moon (gallery owner with 32 years of commercial gallery experience).
