After Dark II - A National Juried Gallery Exhibition

After Dark II is a national juried exhibition celebrating all things nocturnal and the varied reactions emblematic to this subject matter. Hosted by Greg Moon Art of Taos, the show runs July 6-27, 2013, with an opening reception on July 6 from 4-8 PM. Entries are accepted in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, mixed media, fiber arts, glass, and assemblage.

The exhibition is open to all US-based artists 18 years and older. Entry fee is $40, with an additional $10 media fee for each image beyond the first four. Applicants must submit 4-8 images of their work. The entry deadline is April 15, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of accepted works will be sent June 1, with receivership of works June 24-29. Work pick-up/return is scheduled for July 29-August 2.

Jurors include Stephanie Grilli (Yale PhD in art history, independent writer, art historian, and curator), Tatiana Lomahaftewa-Singer (Curator of Collections at the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts, Santa Fe), and Greg Moon (Owner of Greg Moon Art). All works must be for sale and remain in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition. 2-D pieces are limited to 52" width and 72" height with framing. 3-D pieces are limited to 32" width/depth and 72" height. The show will be supported by professionally printed invitations with national mailer, email announcements, website presence for selected artists, regional and national press coverage, opening reception, gallery sales staff, and exposure to prominent figures in the New Mexico art market.
