After Dark - A National Juried Gallery Exhibition

After Dark is a national juried exhibition celebrating nocturnal themes and varied reactions to this subject matter, hosted by Greg Moon Art of Taos. The show runs July 7-28, 2012, with an opening reception on July 7th. Jurors are Jina Brenneman, Curator of Collections and Exhibitions at the Harwood Museum of Art Taos, and Guy Cross, Publisher of THE Magazine (Santa Fe).

Entries are accepted in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and assemblage. Giclees are only accepted in photography. The show is open to all US-based artists 18 years and older. Entry fee is $40, with an additional $10 media fee per extra image beyond the first four. Applicants must submit 4-8 images. Entry deadline is April 1, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of accepted works will be sent June 5, with receivership of works June 25-30.

All works must be for sale and remain in the gallery for the exhibition duration. 2-D pieces are limited to 52" width and 72" height with framing; 3-D pieces are limited to 32" width/depth and 72" height. All works must be ready to hang or display, with glazed works using plexiglass only. Artists receive 70% of sales; the gallery retains 30%. The exhibition will be supported by professionally printed invitations with national mailer, email announcements, website presence for selected artists, regional and national press coverage, opening reception, gallery sales staff, and exposure to prominent figures in the New Mexico art market. Artists are responsible for arranging pickup or return shipping after August 3. Greg Moon Art is not responsible for damage or loss of artwork; artists may insure their works.
