Adirondack Artists Guild’s 28th Annual Juried Competition

The Adirondack Artists Guild announces its twenty-eighth annual juried competition. The Adirondack Artists Guild is a cooperative retail art gallery representing a diverse group of artists residing and working in the Tri-Lakes region of the Adirondack Park in northern New York. The gallery is located at 52 Main St., Saranac Lake, NY. Phone: (518) 891-2615.

This competition is open to all living artists 18 and older. Work must have been completed in the last three years and must not have been previously exhibited at the Adirondack Artists Guild. All media are acceptable, including 3D items such as ceramics, jewelry, and fiber art. Maximum width, including frame, is 38". All work must be original. No prints of work originally done in a different medium or work done in class or under supervision may be submitted. Entries will be accepted through OnlineJuriedShows. All accepted pieces must be hand-delivered to the gallery; please do not enter if you are unable to deliver in person. Images must be in JPEG format, under 4 mb, in sRGB colorspace, and at least 1920 pixels on the longest side @ 72 dpi.

Registration opens January 9, 2026. Submission deadline is March 1, 2026. Notifications will be sent via email March 10-11, 2026. Delivery of accepted work is March 12-14, 2026 (Gallery hours: 11-5 Tuesday-Saturday, 11-3 Sunday). The show opens March 20, 2026 and closes April 18, 2026. Pick up of exhibited work is April 18-22, 2026. The opening reception and awards presentation will be Friday, March 20th from 5-7PM with refreshments provided. Entry fee is $35 for one or two works, with an optional third piece for an additional $10. Cash awards will be announced on the opening day. All accepted works will be displayed and available for purchase on the Adirondack Artists Guild's website and in the Gallery. The Gallery retains a 30% commission on sales, with checks sent to artists within a few weeks of the exhibition's conclusion.
