About This Call
Ada Arts Council is hosting The Ada Arts Festival on June 13, 2026, from 10am-5pm at Ada Township Park (1116 Buttrick Ave SE, Ada, MI 49301). The event will feature approximately 100 jury-selected local and regional fine artists and select craft artisans, along with local community performances and food trucks.
Artists must submit 3-5 JPEG images (under 5MB, minimum 1200 pixels on longest side) including 3-4 pictures of work and one booth photo. Work must have been created within the last 2-3 years. The jury fee is $30 (non-refundable, due with application). Upon acceptance, the booth fee is $175 (due by 4/15; full refund minus $50 administration fee if cancelled by 4/30). Artists must collect and remit Michigan Sales Tax (6%). Assigned booth spaces are 12' x 12' for a 10' x 10' canopy with drive-up access available for most spaces.
Artists must provide their own white tent, tables, and displays. Tent weights of minimum 50 lbs per leg are mandatory and must be securely attached and tethered. Setup is June 13 from 6am-9am, with artists ready to open by 10am. Artist(s) must be present and attend the entire festival. The event is outdoor and open rain or shine. Complimentary amenities include morning coffee, snacks, water, booth sitters for breaks, signage, name tags, artist-only parking, and extensive festival marketing. No electricity, generators, or WiFi are provided. Work displayed must match the quality and volume of application images. Reproductions are limited and must be clearly marked. Novelty items are allowed but limited to 5% of booth space. The festival accepts fine art and fine craft disciplines across multiple media categories including clay, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metalworks, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood.
