ACWF Small Works 2025

The Arts Council Wichita Falls will select 100 pieces for ACWF Small Works 2025, displayed in the West End Gallery at the Kemp Center for the Arts from August 1 – October 4, 2025. Artwork must be no larger than 5" x 7" (not including frame) and be wall mounted. All media will be considered, including paint, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture (wall-mounted), digital, and photography. Artists may submit up to three completed pieces for consideration. All pieces should have secure wire hanging hardware and be original work.

The entry fee is $25 for up to 3 pieces, with a submission deadline of Friday, May 16, 2025. Acceptance notification will be sent Friday, May 23, 2025. The judge is internationally acclaimed miniaturist Marianela de la Hoz. First, second, and third place cash prizes of $500, $250, and $100 will be awarded. Additional prizes for People's Choice and other selections may be made at the discretion of the Arts Council. Awards will be announced at the opening reception, and award money will be distributed within 30 days of award announcements.

Artwork must be received at the Kemp by Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Artists are responsible for shipping artwork to and from the exhibit and must include a prepaid return shipping label at the time of installation. Artwork does not have to be for sale. If artwork is sold, the ACWF will take a 30% commission on the listed sale price and manage all Texas sales tax transactions and reporting.
