ACTION:REACTION—Online Photography Exhibition

ACTION:REACTION is an online photography exhibition celebrating the dynamic interplay of cause-and-effect relationships, moments of impact, and chain reactions that shape our lives and environment. Photographers are invited to submit captivating work exploring these themes, whether awe-inspiring landscapes, emotive portraits, or avant-garde expressions.

Open to all photographers over 18. The entry fee is $35 for up to five high-resolution photographs (minimum 2000 pixels on the long side, saved as jpeg or jpg, maximum file size 2 MB). Submissions will be evaluated by a distinguished panel including juror Steven Phillip Harris, a New York-based artist and photography instructor at Queens College and SUNY/Empire State College. Selected photographs will be featured in the digital exhibition from April 1 to May 31, 2024. Notification of acceptance is April 1.

First Place receives $200 cash, one copy of the exhibition catalogue, a featured gallery section on the website, and social media promotion. Second Place receives $100 cash, one copy of the catalogue, and social media promotion. Third Place receives $50 cash and social media promotion. All accepted entries receive digital badges for social media promotion. Artwork may be offered for sale, with the gallery retaining 30% of the sale price and the photographer keeping 70%. Not for sale (NFS) work is also acceptable.
