Acrylic International Biennial Exhibition

The Acrylic International Biennial Exhibition will be held at Kenosha Public Museum from August 17 to October 27, 2024. This international exhibition is open to artists age 18 and older whose original acrylic paintings are 80% or more acrylic, 40 inches or smaller, and meet KPM Entry Rules. Paintings must have been created since January 1, 2022, and cannot be derivative of images by other creators or AI-generated. Entry fee is $35 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry (up to 5 total). A $5 media fee also applies. Submissions must include 1-5 images in JPEG format, maximum 5 MB, 1200 pixels on the longest side, at 72 ppi/dpi resolution.

The juror is Reginald Baylor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Awards include Best of Show/ISAP Legacy Award ($2,000), 1st Place ($1,000), 2nd Place ($750), 3rd Place ($500), and Honorable Mentions receive sponsored prizes. Selected artists will be notified by email on May 1. Paintings must be received at KPM between July 11-17, 2024. A public reception with the juror will be held on September 14. Accepted paintings must be complete and ready to hang, less than 25 lbs, glazed if needed with framing acrylic (no glass), and shipped in a cardboard art box with pre-paid return shipping and a handling fee ($35 or $20 depending on shipping instructions). KPM retains a 35% gallery sales commission on sold works. Paintings must remain on display through the exhibition dates and ship during scheduled windows.
