About This Call
ACCORD Annual Art Exhibition 2026 is an open call for artists of all experience levels to submit work of any medium or genre. A maximum of six works can be submitted per artist. The submission period runs from 15 December 2025 to 28 February 2026, with artist notifications by 7 March 2026.
Selected artworks will be displayed at The Art Department, Paisley Ltd (9-11 Causeyside Street, Paisley PA1 1UW) from 2-25 April 2026 (closed Sundays and Mondays, 10am-4pm). The exhibition opens with a launch party on Thursday 2 April, 5-9pm. Hand-in of artwork takes place 24-28 March 2026 (10am-4pm), and hand-back is 28-30 April (10am-3:30pm). Works will be grouped by genre and displayed with artist name, title, price, and a QR code linking to the artist's bio. All artworks must be fitted with mirror plates or string for hanging.
Artists set their own sale prices. The Art Department takes a 50% commission plus 20% VAT on the commission element only. Sales take place in the gallery only. Artists who sell work will be paid by 15 June 2026. Artists must provide their own insurance. Artworks not collected during the hand-back period may be held in storage for up to 30 days, after which The Art Department reserves the right to sell or dispose of uncollected works.
