Access and Opportunity, Diversity and Inclusion

This juried exhibition features works that define what it means to be a good citizen in a global context, a person appreciative of all cultures and committed to fairness with respect and equality for all. By looking broadly at access and opportunity for all members of society regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, national origin, race, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation, the exhibition aims to help everyone recognize, appreciate, and respect difference.

Artists may submit up to 3 artworks. Accepted mediums include painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, mixed media, small constructions or installations, short films, and crafts. Entry fee is $20 for up to 3 artworks. Submissions must include an artist statement, images/media of each piece, and artist bio. Only artwork of professional presentation will be accepted. Wall-hung items must be appropriately framed and/or edges adequately finished, with sturdy wire as the hanging medium (no saw-tooth hangers or metal eyelets). Three-dimensional works must be stable to stand on their own or submitted with adequate display stands, and cannot exceed 5'h x 3'w or weigh more than 75 pounds.

Shipping or drop-off of accepted work to Monmouth University is the responsibility of the artist. The exhibition is open to international submissions.
