Abundance

"Abundance" is an art exhibition centered around the limitless potential of creative energy and human ambition paired with the breathtaking awesomeness of nature. The exhibition celebrates all things big, hopeful, and inspiring.

Entry fee is $10.00. Artists may submit 1-5 images and 0-3 audio files (minimum 1 total sample required). Guest juror is Bob Swearingon, owner of the Hilliard Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri. Accepted artwork must be delivered before June 11th. Drop off dates are June 8th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or June 11th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Artists who ship work must include a return shipping label. Pick up dates are July 20th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or July 23rd from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Ship work to: Vanessa Lacy Gallery, 1600 Genessee Street, Suite 161, Kansas City, MO 64102.

Artwork must be display ready with 2-D works having a wire on the back and ready to hang flush on the wall. 3-D works must come assembled with display instructions. The gallery has several large pedestals for sculpture display; email the gallery with any special instructions or questions for larger scale works. Only apply with work that is available to show. If you apply with 4 works, be prepared for the gallery to possibly accept all 4 works. A reception will be held June 21st from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with live music and refreshments provided by the gallery. Postcards and press releases will be available to accepted artists upon request.
