Abstractum - 2025

Gallerium presents Abstractum - 2025, a dual exhibition and publication opportunity exploring abstract expression. The call invites artists to share their unique visual interpretation of "Abstractum," a theme encouraging exploration of intangible, conceptual ideas that defy concrete form—emotions, ideas, principles, and universal truths that shape understanding of the world.

Abstractum can encompass countless interpretations across various mediums and styles, including painting, mixed media, digital art, photography, and sculpture. Submissions may include abstract landscapes and cityscapes, non-representational forms, surreal compositions, conceptual pieces, emotional expressions through color and form, and geometric abstraction. Selected artworks will be featured in an international online exhibition running from December 11, 2024, to February 11, 2025, published in a digital and print catalog, and offered for sale to a global audience.

Submission is free. Up to 6 artworks can be submitted, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. Selected artists will pay a fixed selection fee of USD 40 (USD 34 with early bird discount). Selected artists receive benefits including publication in The Book of Arts, showcase on ARTSY, permanent online presence with artist profiles, exhibition catalog featuring, honorable mention awards (up to 10), promotional materials, visitor feedback, performance analytics, and a digital certificate of participation.
