About This Call
ABSTRACTIONS is an international photography competition open to all photographers worldwide, both amateur and professional. Entrants may submit up to 20 images in any style of photography including film, digital, alternative process, and iPhone photography. Stills only; video is not accepted. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible.
Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry. All images must be submitted in JPEG format with a minimum size of 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi and a maximum file size of 5 MB. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.
Winners will be notified by email on Friday, April 21, 2017, and displayed in the online gallery at www.cultural-center.org. Awards include First Place: $500 cash prize, Second Place: $200 cash prize, and Third Place: $100 cash prize. Jurors will make selections by director's choice; no personal feedback is provided. All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist's website.
