ABSTRACTED Exhibition

This online exhibition celebrates abstract artwork across all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, and digital art (film/video excluded). The theme explores the abstract process as an interactive and intuitive dance where shape, color, form, gesture, and imagination create artwork free from visual reality.

Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total entries. For 3D work, additional detail shots do not require additional fees. All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include First Place ($500), Second Place ($200), and Third Place ($100). All sales inquiries are directed to the artist's website, with artists receiving 100% of sale proceeds. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations supporting the arts.

JPEGs must be submitted by August 20, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Images must be in JPEG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email on September 17, 2021. Work that is copied or done under instructor guidance is not eligible. This call is open to amateur and professional artists worldwide. Selection is by director's choice with no personal feedback provided by jurors.
