Abstract Sanctuary

Abstract Sanctuary is a group exhibition at Verum Ultimum Art Gallery in Portland, Oregon, running February 6 – March 6, 2014. An opening reception will be held on February 6th (First Thursday), and the exhibition will also be posted on the Verum Ultimum Gallery website. One artist will be featured in an online blog post interview.

The competition is open to all 2D artists, national and international, working in painting, drawing, photography, graphics, and digital media. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Wall-mounted works must not exceed 48" in height or 60" in width. Submit 1-3 digital JPG images of your work. The entry fee is $35.00 for one to three artworks. Payment can be made by credit card through CAFE, or by check or money order payable to Verum Ultimum.

All works in the show must be for sale. The gallery will take a 30 percent commission on all sales, with the artist determining the sale price. Artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance by January 15, 2014 via email. Accepted artwork must be received by January 31, 2014. Artwork can be mailed to Verum Ultimum c/o Gillia Cutshall, 7103 SE Holgate Blvd, Portland, OR 97206, or hand-delivered Thursday-Friday, January 25-26, 2014, 10 am-4 pm to Verum Ultimum Art Gallery, 3014 NE Ainsworth Street, Portland, Oregon 97211. Artists retain all copyrights to their work. The gallery may use selected images on printed materials and the website for promotional purposes only.
