About This Call

ABSTRACT Expressions is an international online art competition welcoming all mediums and artists. You can enter all sorts of artistic interpretations of abstraction, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, fiber arts, digital arts, and mixed media. The Red Bluff Art Gallery has sponsored more than 300 exhibitions over more than 14 years and supports artists worldwide.

Entry fee is $30 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 10 image entries and 4 video entries. Submit 1-20 digital images of your work. Selected artwork will be displayed in a 3D Virtual Gallery Show and promoted through the gallery's website, social media, and collector contacts. Artists receive 100% of proceeds from sales. Entry fees support administration costs and the Accidental Animal Rescue Center.

Awards include First Place ($300), Second Place ($200), Third Place ($100), Honorable Mentions ($50), and special recognition awards including Virtual 3D Solo Exhibits ($420+). Selected artists will be notified by email approximately 3-4 weeks after the entry deadline. Exhibits will be visible on the website for a minimum of 90 days. All professional and amateur artists worldwide may enter; you must submit your own artwork and be able to upload good digital images for entry.
