About This Call

Abstract Catalyst #9 is a group exhibition at Verum Ultimum Art Gallery in Portland, Oregon, open to all 2D and 3D artists working in painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. Artists must be 18 years of age or older. The competition is open to national and international artists.

Submission deadline is September 3, 2024. Artists will be notified of acceptance by early September 2024 via email. The exhibition opens in mid-September 2024 and runs through early October. An opening reception will be held. Selected work will be featured on the gallery website and in social media posts and blog posts.

Entry fee is $25.00 for one artwork; additional images are optional at $5.00 each. Submit 1-5 digital JPG images. Wall-mounted works must not exceed 48" in height or width unless approved by the gallery owner. All works in the show must be for sale; the gallery takes a 35 percent commission on sales, with artists determining the sale price. Artwork can be shipped or hand-delivered (email [email protected] for hand delivery). Drop-off day is in the second week of September. Artists accepted to exhibit will not be charged additional fees. Artist retains all copyrights to submitted images and artwork.
