Abstract Art Online Exhibition

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to an online exhibition themed around abstract art. Abstract art uses colors, shapes, and lines in creative ways to express feelings or ideas, often leaving interpretation open to the viewer. It is a celebration of artistic freedom and imagination.

Submissions must be received by Friday, May 3, 2024 at midnight MST. Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total entries. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. For 3D work, there is no need to pay for additional entries for detail shots; additional views may be sent by email to [email protected]. Accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will be by Friday, May 31, 2024.

Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). The exhibition is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. No personal feedback is given by jurors. This call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Work copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. All fine art mediums are accepted (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, ceramics, film/video, digital art), but AI-generated work will not be accepted. Diptychs and triptychs should be uploaded as a single image. Work previously selected for Art Fluent exhibits will not be considered. For artwork that is sold, artists receive 100% of the sale. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations committed to the arts and supporting artists.
