Abrazo (Embrace)

Abrazo (Embrace) is a virtual group exhibition celebrating Verum Ultimum's 10th year. Every artist that enters this call is guaranteed to have 1 work accepted (Verum reserves the right to exclude entries deemed inappropriate or harmful and may request replacements). This will be Verum's biggest exhibition to date, embracing the entire pool of entries and creating a cohesive exhibition from all submissions.

Artists are invited to interpret the theme "Abrazo" literally, figuratively, abstractly, symbolically, socially, politically, culturally, and beyond. All mediums are welcome. Works should be no larger than 50" on any side. If submitting a large work, please make additional entries small or medium, as Verum cannot accommodate an exhibition of all large works within the virtual 3D space.

Selected artists will be featured in a virtual group exhibition on the Verum Ultimum Art Gallery website, including an exhibition page and virtual viewing galleries showing work in scale. Artists will also be featured in online blogposts. The exhibition opens in July 2023 and runs for a minimum of 5 weeks, with social media promotion continuing for 2 or more months. An exhibition catalog will be produced. Artists retain 100% of any sales. Entry fee is $28 plus $5 media fee per sample over the minimum. Submit 2-6 images. Open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international, ages 18 and older, working in painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. Notification of acceptance by June 24, 2023.
