Abiquiu Inn Sculpture Walk & Garden Exhibition

Third Annual Sculpture Exhibition at Abiquiu Inn Sculpture Walk and Garden. This juried exhibition invites professional and student sculptors to submit 3D sculptures of any medium appropriate for outdoor display. Eligible entries include 1-5 entries per artist (one entry per application, 5 maximum applications). Professional artists must be 18 years and up; student submissions require current student ID.

Art submission deadline is March 31, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jurors Doug Coffin and Star York will review sculptures in digital format, with selection notifications emailed by April 20, 2020. Selected sculptures will be displayed through March 2021. Sculpture intake is by appointment April 20–May 8, 2020, with opening reception on Saturday, May 16, 3-5pm. Sculpture outtake is by appointment March-April 2021.

Professional first place receives a cash award and featured artist recognition. Student first place receives a cash award. Other selected sculptures may be offered display opportunity. Abiquiu Inn provides display pedestals, markers with sculpture information, and insurance while sculptures are on Inn premises. Sculptors are responsible for transportation costs for installation and removal. If a sculpture is for sale, a consignment agreement must be signed with 60% net sale to sculptor and 40% to Abiquiu Inn. Images submitted and taken during display may be used for marketing and promotional purposes in printed materials, advertisements, or electronic media; sculptors retain full copyright with photo credit provided.
