A Very Vestige Christmas

A Very Vestige Christmas is a year-end mixed contemporary exhibition open to all genres and artists over age 18 from the United States and Canada. The show runs from November 19 through December 31, 2022, at Vestige Concept Gallery in Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh, PA. The gallery accepts works from emerging, mid-career, and professional artists, including 2D and 3D sculptural pieces. Works do not need to relate to any specific holiday theme. The opening reception is Saturday, November 19th at 6 PM, with additional events including a live performance and year-end holiday party in December (dates/times TBD).

Eligibility requirements: Work must be original artwork created within the last three years, ready to display, and not previously shown at Vestige Concept Gallery. Work must be for sale at the listed price. Giclees and reproductions are not accepted unless the work itself is a Giclee or digital print. Artists may submit up to 9 entries; the $27 entry fee includes 2 entries, with additional entries at $5 each. Applicants must provide a minimum of 2 work samples, artist bio, and artist statement.

Shipped artwork must arrive by Thursday, November 17th, 2022 to be included in the opening. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and insurance to and from the gallery, with a prepaid return shipping label required (FedEx or UPS only). 2D work must not exceed 30 lbs including frame. Wall pieces must be securely wired and properly prepared for display. Vestige Concept Gallery retains a 30% commission on all sales. Accepted artists must provide confirmation, artist photo, bio, and web/social links for promotion and the online version of the show.
