A Thousand Shades of Green

A Thousand Shades of Green is an exhibition at Sebastopol Center for the Arts exploring the many interpretations of the color green. Artists are invited to submit artwork that engages with the color green or its symbolism. Work does not need to be entirely green but should have a strong green component. All mediums are welcome.

Eligibility: Open to artists worldwide. Maximum of 3 pieces per artist. Work must have been completed in the last 3 years and not previously shown at SebArts Gallery. Entry fee is $35 per entry, with a $5 fee for each additional entry. Submit 1-9 images in JPEG format, 5MB or less. Awards: 1st place $300, 2nd place $200, 3rd place $100, and two $50 coordinator awards. Artists receive 60% of sales price for sold work.

Exhibition dates: October 25 - November 30, 2025. Opening reception: October 25, 2025, 2-4 PM. Artwork must fit through a 7' by 7' gallery door and on a 10-foot high wall. Mailed artwork must arrive by October 17, 2025. Hand delivery available October 19, 2025 (2-4 PM) or October 21, 2025 (10 AM-2 PM). Wall-mounted work should include fixtures and sleeves with hanging instructions. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs.
