A Spring Thing 2026

A Spring Thing 2026 is an online exhibition for current members of Southern California Artists Painting for the Environment (SCAPE). The exhibition runs from April 5, 2026 to June 5, 2026 on OnlineGalleryShows.com.

Eligibility and Requirements: Open to all current SCAPE members. All works must be original paintings for sale (no NFTs). Accepted mediums include oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, and mixed media. Digital work, photography, and sculpture are not accepted. All styles and genres are allowed, including people, animals, flora, fauna, architecture, seascapes, landscapes, and still life. Work outside the parameters of basic morality will not be accepted as determined by the SCAPE Board Committee. Paintings are advertised and sold unframed.

Submission Details: Entry dates are February 1, 2026 to March 26, 2026. Entry fee is $35 for the first entry and $15 for each additional entry, up to 10 entries total. Images must be JPG format, under 4 MB, in sRGB colorspace, and at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. Artists will be notified of acceptance or decline by March 29, 2026. Awards include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons plus 2 honorable mention ribbons. Sales are handled through OnlineGalleryShows.com with a commission split of 70% to the artist, 15% to SCAPE, and 15% to OnlineGalleryShows. Sold works include free shipping within the United States and must be shipped within 7 business days of sale. Local tax is collected at time of sale.
