A Place to Remember

A Place to Remember is an all-member exhibition hosted by the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association in partnership with the Natividad Medical Foundation. The exhibition will be displayed on the second floor of Natividad Medical Center, 1441 Constitution Blvd., Salinas, CA 93906, for approximately one year beginning May 28, 2026.

Eligibility is limited to MBPAPA members who have paid their 2026 dues and signed their waiver/registration form. Paintings must be created 85% on site (plein air) with scenes from anywhere in California, and may not have been exhibited in a prior MBPAPA show. Artists may submit up to 3 works for jury selection, with a maximum of 2 entries per artist being accepted. All paintings must be hand-delivered framed to the venue May 5–6, 2026, and must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit with no early pick-up. Canvas wrap is not acceptable. Each piece should have a removable label on the front with title and artist name.

All paintings must be for sale. Artists receive 70% of sales revenue, with 30% going to Natividad Medical Foundation's Spiritual Care Fund. Prices cannot be changed after jury acceptance.
