About This Call

A New Leaf is a juried photography exhibition at the Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts. The call invites photographers to submit images representing "A New Leaf," welcoming both literal and symbolic expressions of renewal as nature reawakens.

The exhibition is open to all styles and photographic processes and will be juried by Elin Spring and Suzanne Révy, editors of What Will You Remember? Artists of all levels who are at least 18 years old are eligible to enter. Submissions may include up to 10 photographs of original work in any photographic process or technology. Work must be exhibition ready with a maximum size of 48" including the frame. The entry fee is $35 for the first three images and $10 for each additional image. Current RICPA members receive a 20% discount on entry fees.

Exhibition dates are May 20 through June 11, 2021. The registration deadline is March 27, 2021. Accepted work must be delivered by May 15, 2021, with a reception and awards ceremony on May 20 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Awards include First Place ($250), Second Place ($150), and Third Place ($100). RICPA retains a 40% commission on works sold (20% for members). For questions, contact [email protected].
