About This Call
A Fair in the Park is a 57-year-old, artist-run fine arts festival produced by The Craftsmen's Guild of Pittsburgh. The 3-day weekend event takes place in Mellon Park in Pittsburgh's Shadyside neighborhood and is free to the public. The Fair features up to 110 artisans working in 2D visual arts, ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, and wood. The event is consistently rated one of Sunshine Artist's Top Fine Art and Design Shows.
Accepted artists receive amenities including free parking, 24-hour onsite security, booth sitting, a Saturday night artists' party with complimentary food and drinks, live acoustic music, and food trucks onsite. Drive-up loading and unloading are available (weather permitting). The Fair engages in wide-scale advertising including print, digital, and radio promotion.
Application fee is $35, and booth fee is $450. Applicants must submit 4 images (including a required booth shot) and can submit up to 2 applications. Liability insurance naming The Craftsmen's Guild of Pittsburgh as additional insured is required, with minimum coverage of $500,000. All booths must be commercial grade white 10x10 tents with 40-50 lb. tent weights. All work must be conceived, designed, and executed by the participating artist and must be present all three days of the show. The event runs September 11-13, 2026, with show hours Friday 1 PM-7 PM, Saturday 10 AM-7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM-5 PM. Application deadline is March 20, 2026, with jury notification by March 30, 2026.
