A Contemporary Drawing Exhibition

The Downtown Gallery, located in downtown Kokomo, invites submissions for A Contemporary Drawing Exhibition. This juried exhibition is open to all artists over the age of 18 who reside in the United States. Any form of contemporary drawing is accepted. All work must be original and completed in the last two years, and must be accurately represented in high-resolution (300dpi) jpeg images not exceeding 5MB. Submissions should include 1-5 images.

Eligibility and Presentation Requirements: Professional presentation of each piece is required. 2D artwork must be framed and have a secure way to hang if necessary. For canvases, the sides and all staples must be covered. Sculptures should be fully assembled and structurally sound and include detailed installation instructions if necessary. There is no entry fee.

Important Dates: Entries are due by 12/29/2018. Artists will be notified on or before 1/5/2019. Artwork delivery is 1/16/2019-1/19/2019 during gallery hours. The exhibition runs 2/1/2019-2/21/2019 with an opening reception on 2/1/2019 from 5:30pm-8:00pm. Artwork pick-up is available 2/22, 2/23, 2/27, and 2/28/2019 during gallery hours. Any work not picked up 30 days after the end of the show will become the property of the gallery. Delivery and pick-up of artwork is the artist's responsibility.
