About This Call
Falkirk Cultural Center and Art Contemporary Marin invite San Francisco Bay Area printmakers to submit work for this exhibition celebrating Claudia Chapline and the medium of printmaking. The exhibition is open to all forms of printmaking and all printmakers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Submission Deadline: October 2, 2017 at Midnight MT. Entry fee is $40 for up to three entries and/or three digital images. Accepted entries will be notified on October 12, 2017. Work delivery is Monday, October 23, 2017 from 10am-5pm. The exhibition runs November 3 – December 29, 2017, with an opening reception on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Work pickup is available Saturday, December 30th from 10am-1pm or Tuesday, January 2nd – Friday, January 5th between 1pm-5pm. Contact [email protected] or (415) 485-3328 for alternative delivery or pickup times.
Awards include cash prizes for 1st Place, 2nd Place, and Honorable Mention. Juror is Sirima Sataman, an artist and founder of Ink.Paper.Plate and West Marin Workshop for the Arts in Point Reyes Station, California, with a BA in Fine Art from Pitzer College and study in sculpture, printmaking, and fiber arts at the Claremont Colleges, American University in Rome, and Temple/Tyler University in Rome.
