9th Biennial FOOTPRINT International Competition

The 9th Biennial FOOTPRINT International Competition is an international juried competition for fine-art printmaking. The juror is Laurel Garber, The Park Family Assistant Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Selected works will be exhibited in-person in the Grace Ross Shanley Gallery from June 2 to August 25, 2024.

Eligible mediums include woodcut, intaglio, lithography, screenprint, monotype, and original digital media. Drawings, photographs, and direct reproductions are not eligible. Prints must be exactly 12 x 12 inches (30.5 x 30.5 cm), with paper size not exceeding 18 x 18 inches (45.7 x 45.7 cm). Only two-dimensional works are accepted. Artists may submit up to two entries. The entry fee is $40 for up to two entries; CCP members receive a 50% discount. Jury selection will take place from March 18 to April 12, 2024.

Prizes totaling $1,000 in cash and purchase awards will be awarded. All accepted prints must be for sale, and CCP will retain a 50% commission on works sold. Artists may choose to donate all proceeds to support CCP programs. Only selected works need to be shipped to CCP. Although reasonable care will be given to submitted work, CCP is not responsible for loss or damage to entries.
