About This Call

The International Society of Acrylic Painters invites artists to submit work for the 9th Annual Online International Open Exhibition. Up to two paintings per artist may be entered. The entry fee is $35 for up to two entries, payable through PayPal. Entries must be digital submissions only.

Submitted digital images must be no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, in JPEG format only, at 72 ppi/dpi resolution, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Work must conform to the concept of being 80% acrylic on any surface. Entries cannot have been previously accepted in any other ISAP show. Images can already be sold, but artists are encouraged to price their work. All results are final.

Jan Martin McGuire will serve as juror for both show acceptance and awards. The timeline includes entries opening May 7, 2018, with the show closing to entries August 1, 2018. Jurying occurs August 2-15, 2018, with notice of acceptance by August 15, 2018, and posting of the show and awards on the ISAP website by August 20, 2018. Cash awards include Best of Show ($800), First Place ($700), Second Place ($500), Third Place ($300), Fourth Place ($200), and Fifth Place ($100), plus donor awards. No refunds are provided.
