99 Bottles

Florida CraftArt announces 99 Bottles, a juried exhibition inviting artists from across the United States to explore the bottle as both a form and an idea. Featuring works in glass, ceramics, metal, wood, fibers, and mixed media, the show celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship behind this timeless object. The exhibition will be juried by Rachel Rearick, Executive Director of Contemporary Craft, Pittsburgh.

Eligibility is open to artists living in the United States. All artwork must be in fine crafts media including clay, jewelry, glass, fiber, wood, metal, mixed media, and printmaking. Artwork must be original in concept, design, and execution, made within the last 3 years, and must be for sale. Small production studio work will be considered; work created in a class, workshop, or from a kit or purchased pattern is not eligible. Artwork previously exhibited with FCA will not be considered. Each artist may submit up to 5 artworks. Entry fee is $30 for up to 5 works ($20 for Florida CraftArt members). Submission deadline is Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 11:59pm MT. Acceptance notification will be sent via email on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

The exhibition runs May 24 – July 12, 2025 at Florida CraftArt, 501 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL. The opening reception and award announcements are Friday, June 6, 2025, 5:30-8:30pm (awards at 6:00pm). Cash awards include First Place: $250, Second Place: $150, Third Place: $100. Artists receive 55% of the retail price of sold artwork; FCA receives 45%. Artists are responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipping costs.
