96th Juried Artists Exhibition

The San Antonio Art League + Museum invites artists from across Texas to enter the 96th Juried Artists Exhibition, the longest-running juried art show in the state. This historic exhibition celebrates excellence in contemporary art and offers a unique opportunity to showcase your work in one of Texas's most respected venues. Prizes and awards total over $10,000, including named awards in a variety of media. A distinguished juror will select approximately 65 works for exhibition.

Eligibility: All artists 18 and older with established current residency in Texas (including armed forces personnel stationed in Texas and their dependents) are welcome to enter. Non-resident SAAL+M members who have been members for three consecutive years or more are also eligible. You do not have to be a SAAL+M member to enter. All entries must be original works completed after December 1, 2024, and must not have been exhibited in previous SAAL+M juried exhibitions or completed under instruction or in direct association with a class or workshop.

Submission Details: Submission period is November 17, 2025 to February 1, 2026. All submissions are online via ArtCall at https://www.saalm.org/96. Entry fees are $50 for non-members or $35 for SAAL+M members (up to 3 artworks). Submit images as jpg files: 300 dpi images no larger than 5 MB or 72 dpi images with the larger dimension at 1800 pixels. Do not include frames for 2-D work or distracting backgrounds for 3-D artwork.

Presentation Requirements: 2-D works must be ready to hang with secure hardware—either framed or gallery-wrapped, not exceeding 72" in height or 50" in width including frame, and not weighing more than 50 lbs. 3-D works must be stable, self-supporting, and safe for public display, no larger than 18x18x18 inches and no heavier than 25 lbs. All artwork must have a completed ID tag attached to the back, upper right-hand corner for 2-D work or the bottom of 3-D work. Notification of accepted submissions will be February 20-21, 2026. Hand-delivered artwork should arrive at SAAL+M, 130 King William St, San Antonio, TX 78204 by the specified deadline. Shipped artwork will be returned at artist's expense. All artwork exhibited must be priced and available for sale. SAAL+M requests a donation of 40% of the sale price, with the artist receiving 60%. Note: Only one piece of artwork will be accepted from any artist's submissions.
