93rd Annual National Juried Exhibition

The Hudson Valley Art Association invites artists to submit work for their 93rd Annual National Juried Exhibition, held at the Lyme Art Association in Old Lyme, CT from June 5 – July 17, 2026. The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age and over living in the United States. Artists may enter up to two recent works not previously exhibited with HVAA, though only one work per artist can be included in the final exhibition.

Accepted media include Oil, Acrylic, Tempera, Watercolor, Sculpture, Pastel, and Graphics (drawing, intaglio, lithograph, or woodcut print). Work must be original and representational or traditional realism. Framed artwork cannot exceed 48 inches in either direction. Sculpture is limited to 80 inches vertically (with pedestal) x 40 inches wide and 40 inches deep, with a maximum weight of 100 lbs. Work must be original, not generated or assisted by AI, and not created in a class, under supervision, or from video tutorials. No photographic, computer-assisted images, collage, prints, or copies of other artists' work are accepted.

Entry fee is $50 for members (included with paid dues) or $60 for non-members, with each entry including up to two works in one medium only. Artwork must be shipped to the Lyme Art Association by May 24, 2026, with a prepaid return label and $30 handling fee included. Notifications will be emailed by April 13, 2026. Awards totaling more than $23,000 will be distributed across all categories. Sales proceeds are split 65% to artists and a percentage to the HVAA Scholarship Fund.
