About This Call
Review Me is an art opportunity organized by Biafarin in cooperation with Discover the Artist media holding. The 8th edition provides constructive critiques and elevating interviews for visual artists globally. Upon artist approval, received critiques or interviews will be published via art media in Italy, France, or Canada.
Artists worldwide are invited to submit a minimum of 3 and maximum of 10 original artworks. Accepted categories include painting, drawing, illustration, printmaking, photography, digital art, sculpture, and mixed media. All styles are welcome, with no size limits. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no limit on creation year. Artworks must be entirely the work of the artist, executed without instructor supervision, and the artist must own all rights for promoting, publishing, and selling the work. Entries must not be copies or derivatives of copyrighted or published works, and organizers reserve the right to use artworks and artist data for promoting the opportunity and publications.
Selected artists will receive a professional art critique or detailed interview, with translations published in English and Italian (critiques) or English (interviews). Critiques and interviews will be published in online issues of international art magazines in Italy and Canada, with print editions available through print-on-demand service. Each selected artist receives a free online profile page on the Biafarin platform and a digital certificate. The application fee is $20 USD. If selected, artists must pay a selection fee of $180 USD to receive one critique or interview and publication in one of the three online contemporary art magazines.
