About This Call
The 8th Biennial FOOTPRINT International Competition is an international juried competition for fine-art printmaking. The juror is Jeff Bergman, Sales Director at Ryan Lee Gallery/Mary Ryan Gallery. Selected works will be exhibited in-person in the Grace Ross Shanley Gallery from June 5 to August 28, 2022.
Eligible mediums include woodcut, intaglio, lithography, screenprint, monotype, and original digital media. Drawings, photographs, and direct reproductions are not eligible. Submitted images must be exactly 12 x 12 inches (30.5 x 30.5 cm), with paper size not exceeding 18 x 18 inches (45.7 x 45.7 cm). Only two-dimensional works are accepted. Artists may submit up to two entries. The entry fee is $40 for up to two entries; CCP members receive a 50% discount. Only works selected by the juror need to be shipped to CCP.
Prizes totaling $1,000 in cash and purchase awards will be awarded. All prints must be for sale, and CCP retains a 50% commission on works sold. Artists may choose to donate all proceeds to support CCP programs. CCP is not responsible for loss or damage to entries submitted to the exhibition.
