8th Annual International Photography Exhibition - Los Angeles

This international photography exhibition invites photographers to submit work representing their most authentic intuitions and unique perspectives. The exhibition theme, "PEOPLE ARE STARTING TO NOTICE," draws from contemporary observations about personal transformation and social change. Finalists will be invited for a two-month exhibition at the Dab Art Co. Main Street Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles, located in the heart of LA's Arts District and Gallery Row.

The distinguished juror is cinematographer Manolo Rojas, a Chilean-born filmmaker with over 20 years of experience in major motion pictures, music videos, and commercial production. Artists selected for the exhibition will be featured in a hard-cover photography book titled "PEOPLE ARE STARTING TO NOTICE," which will be added to the permanent catalog in the LACMA Balch Art Research Library. Honorariums will be awarded to two artists selected by the Dab Art Co. Director and juror. Three artists will also be selected to participate in a moderated panel discussion.

Submissions must include 3-20 images. Entry fee is $45 with a $5 media fee. All photography genres, formats, and print mediums are considered. Photographers must be at least 18 years old and own sole copyright to submitted images. Selected artwork must be ready to hang (2D) or display on a pedestal (3D). Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all sales. Payment to artists will be provided within 60 days after the exhibition closes and receipt of full payment from the buyer. Exhibition opens February 1, with a gallery reception and book release on February 26. The exhibition closes April 23.
