7th Annual International Juried Print Exhibition

Remarque/New Grounds Print Workshop & Gallery invites printmakers from around the world to submit work for the 7th Annual International Juried Print Exhibition, held December 6, 2019 to January 25, 2020. The exhibition aims to present a collection of innovative prints featuring themes and techniques from all traditions of printmaking, including relief, etching, monotype, collagraph, and photopolymer intaglio. Combinations of printmaking traditions are particularly encouraged.

Each artist may submit up to 5 original, two-dimensional prints created within the last 3 years using traditional printmaking techniques or combinations thereof. Works must not exceed 16 x 20" or 20 x 16" in paper size. Digital images and giclée reproductions are not accepted. The entry fee is $30 USD (non-refundable), payable via CaFE. Entries must arrive by midnight MDT on October 6, 2019. Artists will be notified of jury results by October 28, 2019, with accepted works due at Remarque no later than November 12, 2019.

All selected works will be archivally framed and displayed in the Remarque Gallery at no cost to artists beyond shipping. The first prize winner receives a solo show at Remarque/New Grounds in fall 2021, gallery representation, and representation on the gallery website. Gallery representation may be offered to more than one artist. Awards will be announced during the opening reception. For sales, Remarque retains 50% of the retail price and the artist receives 50%. Payment to artists will be made within 30 days of the exhibition's end via check or PayPal. Artists are responsible for all shipping and insurance costs to and from Remarque.
