About This Call

The 7th Annual 5x5x5 Show is River Oaks Arts Center's signature miniature art exhibition, open to all visual artists currently living and working in the United States. The show features 2D and 3D works in all media, with work completed within the past year. Guest Juror for 2022 is Ashley Kenneth Chavis.

Work specifications: Images should be no larger than 5x5 inches or 25 square inches. Three-dimensional work should stay within 5"h x 5"w x 5"d. Original works only; no prints. Applicants may submit 1-3 pieces maximum, with one image per entry. When matting, use off-white or white color only. Framing should suit the piece and be ready to hang. Entry fee is $15 per artist.

Awards include Best in Show ($500), Beck Crowell Creative Award ($100), three Merit Awards ($100 each), and Honorable Mention. River Oaks receives a 30% commission on works sold. The price entered in the submission system will be the exhibition price and cannot be changed if accepted. Exhibition Opening Reception and Awards Presentation: 11/11/22. Exhibition Dates: 11/11/22 - 2/4/23. Jury Acceptance Notification: 10/21/22. Deadline for shipping accepted artwork: 11/4/22. Return shipment of unsold works: 3/17/23. Artists are responsible for shipping and insurance costs to and from the Art Center. No entry payment refunds.
