79th Annual Wabash Valley Exhibition

This exhibition is for visual artists residing in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee working in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, and New Media. Over $8,000 in prizes are awarded annually.

Entry deadline is August 15th. The non-refundable entry fee is $10 per work, payable via credit card or PayPal (free for Museum members). Artists may submit up to five artworks at $10 per additional entry. Maximum dimension for 2D works (including frame) is 6' in any direction. Maximum dimensions for 3D works are 6' x 3' x 2', with no individual component exceeding 6' and total weight not exceeding 40 lbs. Artwork cannot hang from the ceiling. New media entries must be accompanied by presentation equipment and maintain self-repeating loops.

Selected entries must be delivered to the museum September 26 - October 5. Work samples should be submitted as JPEGs not exceeding 3MB (5" x 7" at 150 dpi). Submit one image for 2D work and two views for 3D and sculpture. Images must be rotated for correct orientation. Eligible artists are current or former residents of Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, or Tennessee. Original work must have been completed in the past two years (2021–2023) and not previously exhibited at the Swope. Exhibition dates: November 3, 2023 - January 7, 2024.
