About This Call
The 78th Annual Wabash Valley Exhibition is a regional exhibition open to artists from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee. The distinguished juror is Sarah Paulsen, an artist, filmmaker, and community organizer whose work has been exhibited in local and national exhibitions. Paulsen is a 2018 Great Rivers Biennial recipient, 2010 C.A.T. Institute Fellow, and 2015 Regional Arts Commission Artist Fellow. She holds a B.F.A. in visual art from the University of Missouri, Columbia and an M.F.A. from the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Art at Washington University.
Artists may submit up to 5 works. Work samples should include one image per 2-D work, two views for 3-D and sculptural work, or one video per audiovisual work. Maximum dimensions for 3-D works may not exceed 6' x 3' x 2', 100 lbs., or consist of more than 25 pieces, with no individual component exceeding 6'. Media must be made between 2020 and 2022. Images must be formatted as JPEGs not exceeding 3 megabytes. Selected new media entries must be accompanied by presentation equipment and maintain self-repeating loops.
The entry fee is $10 per work (free for Museum members), payable via credit card or PayPal. The exhibition runs from November 4, 2022 to January 8, 2023. Jury dates are September 20-26, 2022.
