7 Deadly Sins

Artists are invited to submit original artwork for the "7 Deadly Sins" exhibit at R Gallery in Boulder, Colorado. The exhibition seeks unique interpretations of at least one of the seven deadly sins—lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, or pride—incorporated however artists best see fit.

The show runs March 15 through April 23, 2023. Eligible artists must be Colorado residents, and all entries must be of original design and personal execution. Accepted work categories include painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media. Pieces should ideally be less than 30" wide including frame or case; only a few spots are available for pieces up to 48" wide. Accepted works must arrive by March 12. Entry fee is $30.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submissions should include 1-12 images.

All pieces must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. R Gallery handles all sales and charges a 50% commission unless otherwise agreed upon. Work will be returned by May 20, 2023 unless otherwise arranged. Artists must provide a prepaid return label if sending work by carrier. R Gallery will send payment for sales by the 15th of the month following the sale. Notification of acceptance will be sent February 24. An artists' reception is scheduled for March 16, 2023.
