6th Annual Square Foot Auction

Artworks is the largest studio artist community in Northern Colorado dedicated to advancing the contemporary arts. The 6th Annual Square Foot Auction is presented in the center's main gallery and runs from November 5-6, 2021. Proceeds support exhibitions and artist development year-round.

The auction is open to artists residing in the U.S. mountain states: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Larimer County residents apply free; Artworks alumni may enter for free regardless of location. All original media (2-D and 3-D) are eligible, including photography. Reproductions, giclées, and mechanical prints on canvas are disqualified, except for limited edition original work. All work must be either one square foot or one cubic foot in size and created within the last three years. Artists may submit up to eight pieces; usually no more than two to four works from one artist are selected. Entry fee is $15.

Juried artists receive one complimentary ticket and one guest ticket to the opening reception on Friday evening, November 5, 2021. All juried works are included in the online catalog. Bidding starts at $100 with all reserves at $100. ACCA retains a percentage of sales (minimum 65%), with options for 75% or 100% donations. Best in Show receives a solo pop-up show in ACCA's South Gallery during Square Foot 7 in 2022 for three days. Guest judge is Rachel Beitz, RULE gallery owner, Denver, CO. All 2-D works must be appropriately framed and ready to hang; all 3-D works must have proper supports and hanging devices. Unsold artwork must be picked up or shipping arrangements made by November 10, 2021.
