About This Call
Plymouth Center for the Arts invites photographers of all ages to submit images created with mobile devices (cell phones, tablets, or iPads) for the 6th Annual International Phonography Competition 2020. This is a juried exhibition open to international participants of all ages. Any image created with a mobile device is eligible. Submissions are limited to a maximum of 15 images per artist.
Submissions are accepted from November 15, 2019 through December 31, 2019. Entry fees are $15 for the first image and $10 for each additional entry. Judges will select 50 images for exhibition and award 5 artists. Selected images will be published on ArtsPlymouth.org. The five winning images will be printed, matted, framed, and shipped to the artists at the Art Center's expense. Awards include First Place $100, Second Place $75, Third Place $50, and two Honorable Mentions. All five award-winning images will receive ribbons and certificates.
The exhibition runs from January 16, 2020 through February 28, 2020. Five top award-winning images will be exhibited in the Russell Gallery, with a Winter Show Opening Reception on Thursday, January 16, 2020. An online show will also be available on the same day. All participants and interested parties are invited to the reception. Membership is not required.
