6th Annual 5x5x5 Show

River Oaks Arts Center invites all visual artists to participate in the 6th Annual 5x5x5 Show, a miniature art exhibition featuring works from artists across the United States. The show coincides with the gift-giving season and allows patrons to purchase unique, original works of art. Guest Juror for 2021 is Haley Prestifilippo, a studio artist who focuses primarily on drawing and explores themes of creation and deterioration through detailed graphite works.

Both 2D and 3D works in all media are accepted. Original works only; no prints. Work must be no larger than 5x5 inches or 25 square inches for 2D pieces, or 5"h x 5"w x 5"d for 3D work. Artists may submit 1-3 pieces maximum, with one image per entry. Entry fee is $15. When matting, use off-white or white only; framing should be ready to hang with no restrictions on frame or mat size.

Awards include Best in Show ($500), Beck Crowell Creative Award ($100), three Merit Awards ($100 each), and Honorable Mention. River Oaks receives a 30% commission on works sold. Exhibition dates are November 12, 2021 through February 5, 2022, with opening reception and awards presentation on November 12. Accepted artwork must be delivered by 5 pm Friday, November 5. Artists are responsible for shipping and insurance costs to and from the Art Center. Unsold works will be returned April 15, 2022. Eligibility is open to visual artists currently living or working in the United States; entered work must have been completed within the past year.
